In our 115-year history, WV Pharmacists Association has been instrumental in the passage of important legislation to help shape the profession. Advances such as Provider status, immunization expansion, and pharmacy benefit manager regulations all happen because our pharmacists advocate for our patients and our profession!
WVPA’s annual Legislative Day is the cornerstone of the association’s legislative and public policy efforts. This is an opportunity to connect with your legislator and discuss important policies impacting YOUR profession. This event allows pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and student pharmacists to play a key role in influencing important legislation! We are still waiting on official guidance on what is permitted for lobby days and will be scaling back our normal event to comply with COVID-19 precautions. Stay tuned for more details!
