Excellence in Innovation Award

The Excellence in Innovation Award honors a pharmacist who has demonstrated visionary thinking and creative problem-solving to advance pharmacy practice. This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have implemented groundbreaking ideas, technologies, services, or models of care that significantly enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency, or access to pharmacy services.

Nominees should exemplify forward-thinking leadership and a willingness to challenge traditional boundaries to meet evolving healthcare needs. Whether through clinical innovation, research, digital transformation, or entrepreneurial initiatives, the recipient of this award is a trailblazer whose contributions set new standards for excellence in the profession.

This award celebrates those who not only think differently—but act boldly to create lasting, positive change in pharmacy practice and patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a pharmacist, licensed in West Virginia
  • Must be a member of West Virginia Pharmacists Association
  • Must be actively practicing pharmacy
  • Must have demonstrated innovative pharmacy practice resulting in improved patient care
  • Cannot be a previous recipient of the Award
