Distinguished Young Pharmacist: Chelsea Gresham

Chelsea Gresham, PharmD, currently employed at Marshall University School of Pharmacy, will be presented West Virginia Pharmacists Association’s 2018 Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award during the Association’s 111th Annual Convention, August 18, at the Charleston Marriott Hotel.   The Award is sponsored by Pharmacists Mutual Companies.

A 2015 graduate of West Virginia University School of Pharmacy, she is currently employed at Marshall University School of Pharmacy.   She previously practiced as a shared faculty member with Marshall and Cabell Huntington Hospital, and served as a clinical specialist for the inpatient Family Medicine service from July 2016 to November 2017.

Chelsea is a force of pharmacy nature.  She cares about her patients and upholding her profession.  In her time at Cabell, she cared for patients with a tenacious passion, typically checking her patients labs at 10-11 pm at night to ensure they receive the best care.

In addition to being a member of the West Virginia Pharmacists Association, she is a member of the American Pharmacists Association and American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy.
