More OTCs with pharmacists’ advice

According to news reports, 2017 saw many federal regulations nixed by the new administration of President Donald Trump.  2018 will be a year for writing new rules to implement the White House’s favored policies.

Health care will be a top priority for the President.  In the works:  A push to reduce drug costs by sharing the discounts insurers and pharmacies get from drug makers with Medicare Part D enrollees.  And Food and Drug Administration regulators are aiming to approve more drugs for use without a prescription — but with a pharmacist’s advice or other guidance.
