The keynote speaker for the 109th Annual Convention is Kelly Goode, Pharm.D., President of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA). Pharmacists can look forward to hearing her speak on collaborative practice and medication therapy management.
Scheduled for October 8 and 9, 2016, at the Charleston Marriott Hotel, the continuing education programs include the following topics: naloxone dispensing, immunizations, pain management, pharmacy law update, public health/harm reduction programs, new drug updates, diabetes update 2016 and self care challenge.
The traditional reception honoring Past Presidents of WVPA and Installation and Awards Dinner will be held the evening of October 8.
Products and services available to pharmacists and pharmacies will be displayed by vendors all day October 8. The vendors will also host a luncheon.
